Stranger Things: Season 2 Comic-Con Trailer Is Awesome!

And then things get creepy as hell.

After watching the trailer, we have put together a short list of takeaways from the new trailer and shared them below.

Many familiar faces also show up in the trailer, but the most important one is Eleven, who is seen here for the first time since she disappeared into the Upside Down. Be sure to stay tuned as more information about the series comes through. Meanwhile, the boys - particularly Mike - hold out hope that she'll one day return and help defeat the new evil. It mashes Stephen King, Steven Spielberg, and John Carpenter in wonderful ways, but it manages to be more than just a nostalgia bomb.

We thought this might happen. "That was a nice surprise". "I knew that this combination of an 80's backdrop, genre and character authenticity was going to be something special", he shared. "We didn't know if anyone would let us make it or if anyone would watch it".

The season 2 returning cast includes Winona Ryder, Millie Bobby Brown, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Noah Schnapp, Charlie Heaton, Cara Buono and Joe Keery. It's going to be one heck of a Halloween. At the end of the first season, it was revealed that she was truly sentient. Season one ended with the two on good terms, excluding Steve's awful Christmas sweater, but it was always assumed that the Nancy-Steve-Jonathan triangle wasn't totally wrapped up. "You can't start from the same place", he said. Whether they lived here or in the Upside Down, everyone was talking about it. Season two has been teased as bigger and darker than the first season but will still include plenty of heart as it remains faithful to the world established in the first season of the streaming service's '80s homage. And it all begins with leaving eggos in the woods for someone he thinks might still be out there. This is very similar to the previous season's opening scene showing the kids playing a board game called Dungeons and Dragons. We can't wait to see what new additions such as Max (Sadie Sink) will bring to the story.

"Understandably they're a little nervous about the guy whose replacing this friggin' guy", said Reiser, pointing at Modine. Executive producer and showrunner Jonathan Nolan would only say "Doesn't look like anything to me".

The Duffers said they had always intended the show to be similar to "Spielberg directing a big, fat Stephen King book". But it was untidy. The phrase "justice for Barb" gained traction within the show's fan community and reached meme status on the internet and social media.

Stranger Things 2 will hit Netflix on October 27th.

And unsurprisingly, Twitter have absolutely lost it over the much-anticipated trailer.

Debuting on October 2 previous year, the sprawling Nolan and Joy created series based on the 1973 Michael Crichton movie of the same name successfully mined the open sandbox of multiple storylines and resets found in the hugely successful GTA video game franchise, as I said in my review.
